Youth Expo
The theme of this year’s Expo is:
"Ewe Rock"
When: Friday, April 13th thru Sunday, April 15th.
Where: OC Fairgrounds
Youth Expo is an educational fair designed to focus attention on the positive accomplishments of Orange County Youth. This annual non-profit fair is sponsored and underwritten by the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center. All Orange County teachers of preschool, kindergarten and grades 1-12 are encourage to involve their students in Youth Expo.
THE PURPOSE:
Learning by doing is the basic purpose of the 4-H and FFA programs. The Expo provides the chance to interact and learn from other youth groups during the event. Ideas are exchanged and learning from mistakes takes place.
The FFA Mission; The National FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. The organization's motto is: Learning to Do; Doing to Learn; Earning to Live; Living to Serve. The FFA motto gives members twelve short words to live by as they experience the opportunities in the organization.
4-H is an educational program for all boys and girls; ages 5 through age 19. It is administrated by the University of California Cooperative Extension. For information call (714) 708-1606.
