More About the Program

Program Information

The Orange County 4-H Ambassador is one of the highest leadership positions at the county level, and the 4-H All Star is the highest rank that can be achieved at the county level.

A County Ambassador is recognized for his/her outstanding level of leadership and understanding of the 4H program.  The County Ambassador serves on a leadership team that represents Orange County 4H at county-wide and regional events.  This position promotes leadership development, service opportunities, and recognition to outstanding Teen Leaders.

You do not have to hold a star rank to become a County Ambassador, but those members that have earned a Gold or Platinum Star rank prior to fulfilling a year of service as a 4H County Ambassador will earn the rank of All Star, a non-retiring service rank.   Youth are not eligible to apply for the All Star rank during the year of service as a County Ambassador Intern.
