Parents we ask that you read over these rules with your child before going to
camp.
For you safety as well as the safety of others we ask you to abide by the following.
Remember the most important rule at summer camp is to have fun and not get hurt.
|
- Footwear is required at all times. (Even in your cabin) Barefoot
or open toed sandals are not a good idea. Only the bears are allowed to go
barefoot.
- Always travel with a buddy. It is terribly unfashionable to be seen walking
alone at camp.
- Stay on the pathways (no trail shortcuts)
- Please do not pick up sticks, stones, rocks or other campers. Sooner or
later you will be tempted to throw them and someone always gets clabbered.
- Always walk, never run.
- No food, gum, candy or snacks are permitted in the cabins or on the trails.
- Please do not remove food from the mess hall.
- No rough-housing, horseplay or fighting.
- You are not permitted to enter other cabins uninvited.
You are never permitted in cabins of the opposite sex.
- Please do not bring cell phones, electronic games, laptop computers, or any other expensive device.
- Skate Boards are not permitted at camp.
- No one is permitted to leave the camp compound area without first checking out with the adult leader in charge.
Any infractions will be handled in accordance with the
4-H Code of Conduct and the
4-H Procedure Handbook.
