TOTE BAGS FOR THE BATTERED WOMEN SHELTER

I took all of the left over and donated fabric and made tote bags for a battered women shelter.  These bags will be filled with toiletry items and be passed out as needed.

As a sad note, Mary, the founder of Mary's Kitchen, passed away in December at the age of over 100.  Her dream was to build a shelter for the homeless.  Although much planning progress has been made, and much of the funds raised, Mary did not live to see her dream come true.  If you would like to help Mary's dream come true by making a donation, Mary's Kitchen is located at 517 W Struck Ave, Orange, CA 92867.  Their phone number is 714-633-0444.
