Meeting: One Saturday morning each month
| Goals: | Project members will learn shop safety along with the proper use of hand and power tools. Additionally members will learn how to finish their projects. And, of course, to have fun! |
| What to expect: | We'll use both hand and power woodworking tools to complete simple projects such as a tool box, games and other simple things. As your skill goes up you might want to try your hand at more challenging projects |
| Time Required: | Meetings are one Saturday each month; you may need to work a little at home to finish. |
| Effort Required: | You'll want to show your projects off at
Youth Expo and the Orange County Fair YOUTH EXPO (a "learning fair" of 2-3 days) You will display your best one or two creations ORANGE COUNTY FAIR Choose the same project(s) or new ones to display at the fair |
| Estimated Costs: | Since the projects are small, they are typically low cost. You may be asked to bring materials or contribute a few dollars for materials during the year |
