Meetings: Session 1 (6 weeks): November 10th - December 20th

Session 2 (6 weeks): January 19th - February 28th

 
Goals: Each  member will graduate with their yellow belt and certificate.
Limitations For all ages and levels:

Tiny Tigers (5-7); Children (7-9); Teens/Juniors (10-17)

What to expect: The purpose of this training course is to provide a foundation for individuals to train in the martial arts.  Students will be learning techniques to improve balance, coordination and listening.  They will also begin training in defense techniques that can be used to protect themselves.  The martial arts has been shown to instill respect, discipline, and confidence into those who commit themselves to the arts.   
Time Required: One private lesson with other 4H members plus unlimited group sessions each week.
Effort Required: You can make a poster or display to show at Youth Expo and the Orange County Fair
    YOUTH EXPO (a "learning fair" of 2-3 days)
        Submit your poster or display for judging
    ORANGE COUNTY FAIR
       Submit the same poster or display or a new one for fair
Estimated Costs: The $99 materials fee will cover the following costs:

Uniform and Belt:  $25

USSD Logo Patch:  $9

Official USSD T-Shirt:  $15

Student Manual:  $25

Yellow Belt and DVD (receive on test day):;  $25
