What is Teen Council?

Orange County (OC) Teen Council is a hybrid of a social group and a leadership team for members 13-18 year of age.  We encourage you to work at events and activities to further your leadership skills.  This creates a perfect balance for either someone who wants to dive head first into leadership, or someone who isn't quite sure if they are ready to commit to just yet!

We have fun monthly meetings and activities, which the members take an active role in deciding, planning and implementing.  With help and guidance, we believe that this is just one more way to help teach our members valuable leadership skills and responsibility.
We also help out at County 4-H events as invited.  There are many roles in which to help, so members are constantly learning a variety of skills.
It has also been set in our guidelines that we will host Member Achievement Awards and participate in community service activities each year with a focus on leading several activities at Imaginology.  4-H is commonly known for its contributions to our various communities, and we'd like to keep this tradition alive by helping out our own community.
OC Teen Council members strive to set a good example for other 4-H'ers as well as the OC 4H name.  We are proud to be ambassadors and represent the Orange County 4-H Program.
