Countywide Community Service Project

Countywide Community Service Project Helps Animal Shelter

In the first meeting of the year dog toys were made to support Modjeska Ranch. In the second meeting, cat toys were made. So many toys have been donated that additional shelters are being sought out. Great job! You can learn more about making dog and cat toys and making donations here: Orange County Slack - Countywide Service Project Channel

Donations of toys and supplies for shelters will be accepted all year long so get crafting and share your love with a dog or cat in need!

It's not too late...You can still join the Countywide Community Service Project! Participate in mini-projects all year long that help our community from schools to animal shelters to beach cleanups to food pantries. Every month a different project will be introduced using a variety of skills and materials. Meetings will be on the last Monday of the month. Instructions will be provided and you can work on your own time to finish the project. For now meetings and instructions will be via Zoom/Slack. When COVID restrictions are lifted, projects will be in person at beaches and food pantries. Open to all 4-H members in Orange County!

  • Greeting cards to brighten the day of those in need will be made for donation to Meals on Wheels
  • Monday, November 30 at 7:30pm via Zoom - register to get the link and more information.
